A dozen theater troupes from Iran have been invited to attend the High Fest International Performing Arts Festival in Armenia.
The 15th edition of the festival will host twelve troupes from Iran in the Armenian capital city of Yerevan from October 1-10, organizers said.
Albert Beigjani, a member of the festival’s selecting board, said that Puria Qolipur’s troupe will perform ‘House of War’ and director Reza Rafinasab’s group is scheduled to stage ‘Chaos’ at the festival.
Iranians Javad Sedaqat and Elham Abni will co-direct ‘If a Night of Tehran’s Nights…’ and ‘Bahador’.
Meanwhile, director Hadi Emami-Moqadam will lead ‘Narcolepsy’, while Heidar Rezai will direct ‘Living in a Glass Room’.
‘Dance with the Sea’ by Nazanin Valajam will be performed in the street theater section of the festival. She will also stage ‘Regret’.
Other programs in the event include ‘Identity’ by Ehsan Kheirmand, ‘Rustam and Esfandiar’s War’ by Dariush Nasiri, ‘Down with the Death’ by Mehran Solgi and ‘Silence in Wilderness’ by Mandana Abqari.
